Red face Womp Womp Womp Woooomp

I wrapped up my 13B T swap today, I turned the key for the first time and the engine would not turn over . The gauge lights do not light up, but the gauges work, the warning lights do not light up either.

For now I am totally stumped, I'll get back at it tomorrow and go over everything to see why the engine will not turn over.

Wouldn't turn over, or wouldn't fire up? Is the starter turning the engine over?

It would not fire up. I made a check list of things to go over, ie, check ecu harness connections, check engine wire harness connections, spark plug wires, all fuses, etc.

Today after going over those things, also reconnected the fuel pump resistor and primed the fuel pump. First turn of the key and the engine fired right up!!

Good to hear that it fired up! But why is there smoke coming out near the firewall, is it exhaust leak from the downpipe?

Thank you !

No downpipe, it's wide open. That was the first time the engine has been started since I bought it October last year.

Thumbs up Re: Womp Womp Womp Woooomp

Here's the most recent video of my completed 13B T swap. I installed a Racing Beat 2 1/2" Down Pipe installed at Advance Muffler along with a Magnaflow resonator. Next is dyno pulls to see how well the engine is boosting and the condition of the emissions side.
