who has swapped

Question

I did the swap to my 90 GXL, I think the hardest part was locating all the parts, w/out paying about $8000 for everything. :shakehead: Oh yeah differential swap sucked too. I had to remove the subframe once before though. :tounge:

I swapped differentials without removing the subframe. Talk about tought.

Yeah, I see how you could swap the differential w/out removing subframe but, I thought it would be faster to remove sub first. Mine took me about 8-10 hrs to remove it, how long did it take you?

It didn't take a long time to remove the bolts and axles, maybe an hour or two? The hard part was yanking it out. That took about another hour.

Did you use a lift?

Pulling the subframe makes it easier to get to everything, but you don't HAVE to do it. I just did it in my driveway, on jackstands.
