I'm not talking about wifes or girlfriends.



Anybody here ever done a swap from n/a to TII for. I just want to see how many people were crazy like me to do a swap.

i pulled the engine out of my 88 SE that was blown. that means i'm only 1/8th as crazy you guys

Did you put a motor back in?[/quote]

nope. the car had 180k miles and blown engine. so i stripped the car and junked it. i bought it for $300. it was my first rx7 it has 4 lug wheels etc, i didn't want to waste anymore money or time on it and i found the GTU so i transferred some parts that the GTU was missing it was a good learning experience of how much of PITA it is to pull the engine. alot of work so many damn connectors and i'm glad i didn't care about the engine though cause i think broke alot of stuff on it in the removal process i remember the oil cooler lines being very hard to pull out.... nonetheless it was fun to do when i had no job for a short time when i was like 17

Pulling motors is much easier when you don't have any emmissions crap, etc.

yes it is. this car had EVERYTHING from the factory. had to disconnect so much crap. if i put it back in. it would have been just the block and intake manifold none of that other crap

I put EVERYTHING back on the 91 when I put in a new motor. That was a pain. I think that I could remove my motor in an hour. :tounge:

An hour sounds about right if you seven is stripped pretty good.
