do 2nd gens have replacable u-joints? Miatas do not and they share the same yokes, so I thought if they where replacable, I might have a cure for my drive shaft problems.

No, Mazdatrix sells a driveline that does have replacable u-joints.

There is a rplacement u-joint available for the FC driveshafts
