Alright, my reason for using a rotary engine would be (knowing when you apply power to ANY motor it's gonna blow sooner or later) when you blow a rotary you didn't just lose after market pistons, valves, etc. you don't need all that for a rotary. you port it run it till it blows and do it again. you can get 500hp out of a rotary cheaper than most piston engines. and that 1000hp thing you give me enough money ill put 1000hp in a 3 cylinder geo metro. anything is posible. and if this didnt make sence sorry i haven't had sleep for 48hrs.
