tonite with tranny out of the fd myself..

wonderin if its necessary to completely remove the ppf and shaft..

certainly looks like i can pull with only the four front bolts to the ppf off...

assumin its ok as long as the shaft and ppf is supported..

any suggestions..

for additional power...

bein prepped for coolant..oil..intake..exhaust..porting...

among other things..

are you pulling engine and tranny at same time ? if you are gotta pull off the PPF.



if you just pulling trans all you need to do is unbolt the trans and undo the release collar.

pulled with tranny..

ppf front studs got in the way

removed the ppf completely..just left the shaft alone..

shes out now...first fd motor pull...

now to figure out how shell mount to the pineapple plate..



well.. as soon as i pull the tranny off the motor..
