I figure I'll make a thread covering the installation of my cosmo 2 rotor motor to replace the s5 j-spec motor, that replaced my s4 stock turbo motor with 200k+ miles on it. Only the cosmo information will be covered here tho, I have an old thread titled "engine swap minus the bullshit" that covered the initial swap and installation of the wolf 3d, ignitor, coils, fmic, ect.

First of all a big thank you to jr from Just Racing Fabrications, for the mounts, plumbing modifications, some brackets, porting the manifolds, and letting me pick his brain for some ideas about this swap.

Ok some pics to preface the swap

Jr assured me he would be able to cut the restricitons out of the exhaust sleeves with the motor in tact. He explained his procedure to me and it makes perfect sense, but I don't think I'll give away all his secrets! This is before he filled the sleeve back in with some stainless.

half done

he's too cheap to use block off plates, so he just does this instead! Tree huggers don't look!
