I have a suggestion, if u want a Lt1 or an Ls1 engine, go get an f-body. I'm just happy though ur not talking about swapping a skyline or a supra engine in the fc

Ahhh, so you would rather have some PO-DUNCK V8, rather than a Japanese motor tha is capable of high RPM's.

hey now that u mention it...maybe i could fit a inline 6 with twin turbos...

There ya go! That sounds good to me.

Don't get me wrong I like the V8's, but just for there low end torque, and that awsome rumble they have with a roller cam. I just don't like the fact that there RPM rang is very low compared to most import motors.

With the money ur gonna implant a new engine in an old car, might as well get a whole new car.

Would you shut that gapeing hole n your face, before anything else stupid falls out of it!!!

Have you ever done any custom engine swap, I'm gona say no, by the attitude and ignorance you have to it. But I can compete my supra7 and have about 250-275 HP for under $1500-$2000. And I could probably upgrade the turbo in that price to, but it would be cutting it pretty close.

that answered his question, you people need to ease up.

If he was swapping a rotory into something else you would be giving him praise.

freddie- im sure you know that soul's car is long disassembled after he blew his last motor and left the country right? not like he did any of his own work anyhow.

FiKsE l2X SeVeN Jr sorry for taht, but everytime i post something about swapping in a diff engine, people jump on me...i mean this is the engine swap section, people need to not read what doesn't interest them hey Rob x-7 thanks for stucking up for the people that want a diff motor in their 7.....and to the guy about the jap engines that rev high....i would take a 6000 or 6500(not sure on a LT1 or LS1) redline any day of my 7s 8000, because it has almost triple th torque and double the hp...and with what 1500-2000 lost in RPMs...not a big deal when i chirp em goin into 4th and 5th

lmfao...soul assassin never built an engine(or ported for that matter) a 13B in his life. He PAID someone to do everything. I'm surprised he could hook up a turbo timer...now he's into the Cyclones or some gay ****...

And for all of you who keep chiming in...if you have EVER rebuilt your own engine...then MAYBE you could speak up. It takes a lot of fabrication and knowhow to do an engine swap. I GUARANTEE NOBODY that has posted could pull this off except for ONE person(not including myself)

My brother and I could do that. And we wouldn't have to cut the fire wall, and of course the worst thing would be wireing it up.

I am not sure what your point is. So I am supposed to do an amature rebuild in order to gain respect instead of having a shop like Pettit racing rebuild my motor??

I wouldn't bother to do that swap. How much honestly does it cost?? I cannot be cheap. There has to be a lot of custom stuff done to get that engine to fit. Wiring the ECU cannot be fun either. I would imagine a custon driveshaft would have to be made as well.

I would like to know honestly how much a LS-1 swap costs. That one that was posted in the GD section was selling for how much?? Over 20K. So it does not seem like this swap is cheap.
