How does the idea of a rotary Honda S2000 sound? I mean come on,that car screams to have a rotary in it. Look at the motor it has now. It's a piston engine pretending to be a rotary. Plus, the S2000 is pretty much the same front/mid layout, and it's super light,so hell, why not? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

Its got alot of room in the engine bay. Could probably fit a 3 rotor in there. The tranny tunnel is tight though.

Honda motors turn counterclock wise. You would have to do something with the diff, flip is over? If you left the diff alone you would have the fastest backward running S2000 around.

could be wrong though.

well, if anyone is going to do this swap....

the whole drivetrain will have to be repaced from the engine all the way to the axels

Why would you do that?...The new s2000 is a 2.2 ltr, actually has a lil torque. you buy that car, and slap a supercharger on it. And that engine bay looks really really tight, does anyone know the dimensions? Why would you step down from honda reliability like that, and not even for a performance gain.

Just for reference, all new honda motors starting with the s2000, turn the right way.

If the engine in the S2000 turned backwards the car would go backwards. How do you think they changed counter motion into clockwise motion to drive the rear axle?
