Insane Idea: Rotary S2000
#1
How does the idea of a rotary Honda S2000 sound? I mean come on,that car screams to have a rotary in it. Look at the motor it has now. It's a piston engine pretending to be a rotary. Plus, the S2000 is pretty much the same front/mid layout, and it's super light,so hell, why not?

Honda motors turn counterclock wise. You would have to do something with the diff, flip is over? If you left the diff alone you would have the fastest backward running S2000 around.
could be wrong though.

the whole drivetrain will have to be repaced from the engine all the way to the axels

Why would you do that?...The new s2000 is a 2.2 ltr, actually has a lil torque. you buy that car, and slap a supercharger on it. And that engine bay looks really really tight, does anyone know the dimensions? Why would you step down from honda reliability like that, and not even for a performance gain.
