Re has the same size intake ports as the 20b....my friend has one.. u can stick 4 fingers in the intake port... thats amazing considering i could stick 2 in a TII.... plus extra porting... The RE is way better than the REW hands down

So would the 13b-RE TT be a better swap than the TII engine into an FB? I'm currently considering both pretty seriously.

I'm actively looking for an FB to use.

Yes the 13B-RE would be better than a TII engine.

Someone responded, yay!

Okay I have another question: where can I get motor mounts for this swap, and what else do I need to consider to avoid as many problems as possible?

1st gen is easy, you only need the front cover from any 74-85 rotary and it goes right in

So what exactly is the "front cover?" I know I sound retarded, but I want to be sure.

And you're positive this front cover is all I need for the 13b Cosmo?

what front stationary gear would you use? the one out of the cosmo or the one out of the 1st gen? Or could you use the FD stationary gear?

Yeah it would be nice if there was some documentation for this swap, I mean, does it use the same motor mounts as the FB? Probably not. So what all will I have to do to get the motor to fit?

If the TII is a direct bolt in for an FB, then the Cosmo should fit fine with the motor mounts from 2krd.
