i just recently bought a j-spec engine from an importer. it had an automatic transmission on it.

first question i'd like to ask is...is there a difference between the auto/manual counterweights? i know that depending on series of engine, the counterweights are different; but i'm not sure if the transmission type would make a difference either...?

another thing...under closer inspection, i came to the conclusion that the housings were actually from an S5 turbo. but the front cover is from an S4.

so now i'd like to see pictures of the S5 and S4 automatic transmission counterweights(if there is a difference depending on tranny; otherwise pics of both the S4 and S5 counterweights will do just fine) to find out if there are any noticeable differences between them so that i can find out which rotors are inside the engine(i'm too poor to afford a rebuild)..so i can do the swap the right way without having to pull the engine again after putting it in.

thanks for any help.
