Clutch Flywheel Combo?

hey guys, i'm swapping an s4 into an '85 SE and was wondering what clutch and flywheel combo i should be using. i'm going to be using the stock tranny for now so any help would be greatly appreciated

Match the engine The S4 clutch and flywheel will fit in the 85 tranny.

Doesn't he also need the S4 counter wieght for it to Cosmo Donk?

Well, he said he was putting an S4 into an 85 so I am assuming he meant he had an S4 engine, which would then already have the counterweight. I think he was just asking if the clutch will work.

Like cosmo said. Is a drop in if you have the long block from the s4. You have to use the s4 flywheel for the engine but the clutches are all the same size for NAs.

so i can use the stock flywheel right? i've read i might have to use a lightened flywheel cause the stock one is too big

the stock s4 fly wheel is fine. a light flywheel and a streetstrip clutch would be nice tho. you have it all apart, make sure you look at the throw out bearing, if its not in the greatest shape atleast replace that, and the pilot bearing and seal.
