hello

does anyone know how much shorter(if any) a side draft weber w/intake is than

the holley kit?



also what is the difference in performance?

how do they campare price wise?

from everything i hear the weber is better and from pics ive seen it does have a lower clearance.....i currently have a 13b with a holly setup but in my next rx7 im running a weber.....ive done quite a bit of research and i want the weber for sure...imo :bigthumg:

I'm running a dellorto on mine and theres plenty of clearence.It has about 1" of clearence between the carb and block. Looks cool tho.

Do you mean intake runner length, total intake sytem height (for hood clearance), or carb height between bottom of carb and motor?

I can't comment on the Holly setup, but the Weber side draft is the lowest profile you will find. I remember looking at pics of a stock 12a and pics of a 13b with a Holly and they were both higher than the alternator with air filters(and I had to lower the alternator to clear my hood!)

If I had the air filter for mine(need to order still)I think yours and my carb setups have similar clearence.I saw your engine bay pic and I'm pretty sure they are identical.
