Hello,



I have a 1986 2wd B2000 xtra cab p/u that I would like to possibly put a rotary engine into. A buddy of mine has a 1981 RX7 with a 1985 B2 engine that I can get fairly cheap. I am just wondering what I need (tools/motor mounts/tranny etc) to do this swap. I really appreciate any help you guys can give me.

I might not be the best person to ask about this but I will give this a shot. I would assume that you would need to make custom engine mounts and then go from there.



Tools needed would be not much different from a different engine swap. Minus whatever is needed to custom make the engine mount.



IIRC there is a car on here that is actually a b2600 with a rotary. Go to the "other cars" section and do a search.

Been there driving one.But mines a regular cab short box tho.Check the repu section of this site.Theres a few who have done this swap.
