I have had an 88 GTU for a year and since i bought it for $1500 i noticed that it has been smokin white smoke... and i'v been lookin for engines.... luckly i ran into this guy and he had bearly bought a 89 TII and it only had 100,000 miles on it... he dicided to sell me everything from the TII cause he's planning to swap a V8 in there.. well he sold me everything for $600... engine, turbo, tranny, shaft, wires, ecu, cpu, shortshifter, etc... basically everything.. and i'm planning on changing the clutch, hoses, mounts, and thats all i can think off... from the info that i'v told u guys.... what else do u think i should look out for and also is this a good idea.....???? if u can help me out on this i would really appreaciate ur help thanx

Theres a guy I know here in Tampa..he bought some shop and got like 4 Fieros with the Ferrari kits..one looks like a F40 and the rest are like the 308s on Magnum PI..

Kits cars are lame..But the one with the F40 kits looks nice...Only if you can have some power to back it up...

Most of those people swap in stock small blocks thats why. They probably figure get the swap all worked out, then make more horsepower later. The 350 GM Targetmaster engine is 350 hp, and it has a warranty to boot, not bad for about $2400 is it? And it will probably run forever.

You could chrome the manifolds, front cover, the alternator, brackets
