I'm getting ready to start the actual instillaton of my S5 Turbo 2 motor into my '73 Z, so it's about time I decided on how to get fuel to the whole thing. I had originally planned on piecing a turbo setup together and using a GSL-SE motor. In preperation for that I bought a 48mm Dellorto form Racer X to build a blow-thru setup. After buying the carb though, I found a good deal on a Turbo 2 front clip, harness and ECU included. So, my question is this: would I be better off swapping the EFI along with the motor and then buying a black box (Apex'i S-AFC?) or selling that whole setup and running the Dellorto? I don't plan on running huge boost, probably around 10 psi, just yet. In a few months I'd like to buy a new turbo and turn it up, though. I know that a stand alone would be my all around best bet, but I really don't feel like dealing with the cost and setup. Any input?

Why are you ditching the stock in line 6?? I thought they could be built up to be pretty powerful?

To the Rotary questions Carburators are a pain in the *** to keep tuned properly. Evertime there is a temp change you have to readjust.

As far as the TII front clip. Does that include the stock ECU? If so it is doable to swap that in just be ready to do some wiring on the ecu so it works in your car.

And yes a S-afc is a good band aid upgrade. Its good for a temporary setup but if your interested in making lots of power you'll need to consider a stand alone.

I would go carbulated turbo or after market ECU like haltech. Don't go witht he stock ecu, a waste of time if you are going to go big in power and would be easier to wire up.

I'll bet getting the aftermarket ecu might be cheaper later down the road than getting that clip.

When you get that turbo, all u do is slap it in and tune, no rewiring. Do it right the first time and build from there.
