hey, i'm new to Rx7s...i'm just curious....has anyone put a 4g63(mitsu eclipse turbo) into one of these....it would really move easily

is there a rwd tranny for that engine?

not sure if there is a RWD tranny meant for the car...but i ealize that there would be a lot of custom work done...i've seen a mitsu truck with a turbo 4g63 in it....so its possible to mate it to a RWD tranny...imagine...those engines can prouce 250 whp...easily and reliablly...and with a lil more weight

you can make that power with a stock port/ turbo t2, whats the point?

yup rxchx7 S5 TII with full exhaust and intake has about that power @ 10psi on stock engine and turbos.... that car has plenty of power

 

true....but reliablity would be the point...my friends eclipse GSX....was dynoed at around 310 at the wheels.....the car haas no turbo lag ebcause he is using a 16g and he drives it every day with no probs....not to mention the motor has 170,000 miles...so like i said....reliablity...but i've also been lookin into a ls1 with a 6speed conversion....i love the rotary power and sound....but i need something that i can trust...that won't strand me...also the starion uses a diff engine....its not the 4g63...but it may fit...not to sure
