i have a 87 fc with no motor and i dont know where to find one and what one is eyser to swap can u guys help me out im up in north jersy

 

swap a v8 into it, easiest way to go.

 

Don't listen to him... V8s don't belong in Rx7s..it wouldn't be an Rx7 anymore.



Is your '87 a turbo or non-turbo model?

 

it makes me sad when people swa the rx outta the rx7 only to put in a v8....

 

v8 rx7s do go like a bat out of hell though..

yeah i can see the other side. any pos 87 rx7 is a much better car than a vette, its lighter, etc etc perfect place to put the v8.

 

its a non turbo model all i whant is the fastest and esayest swap to do ( replacement for desplacement)

 

how much does it cost to do a v8 swap it looks tight is it hard

 

I dont know how much help you are going to get on a V8 swap from a site called nopistons. If I were you I would look at rx7club.com because i think they have an entire section devoted to v8 swaps so they should be able to answer most of your questions.

 

put in a T2 drivetrain and call it a day. if you're in northern Jersey why don't you just PM, e-mail or call Ito. i'm sure he has to know of somewhere you can buy a motor and/or whatever else you need.
