Well, the title would be sweet to begin with, 3 rotor mid engine. has a nice ring to it. I found a 91 lotus locally, for pretty cheap bout 5600 without engine, bad paint. Frame is straight, needs some loving....so i started to look around at replacement stock lotus engines..hard as **** to find, and expensive. So, i was thinking bout 20b single turbo. There is a company out in california makes a body kit that updates their look to the latest, 99-02 look for a couple grand, I think it would make a pretty bad *** car, but the technicalities of it all havent quite sunk in...





Just and idea, what you guys think?

 

well, people have made a 3 rotor delorean...... so why not a lotus?

from what i remember though, they used porsche tranny.....



if the lotus you are buying still has the tranny , scrap it, its made by peugout

 

i wont keep anything original on the car barely, everything must go!



What are some trannys that will bolt up to the 20b?

 

the tranny used for the 20b delorean is one from a 911
