Does the 12A turbo have an ECU? And if it does where could I find one. If it doesn't I can just order the motor and drop it in with out electrical problems? I know I need other stuff but I just want to know if I need anything special to complete the process?

engine swaps always have their little problems or big problems depends on who's doin the work, anyways if your gonna go 12a turbo why dont you just turbo your existing motor? well either way i say stick with the 12a its cheaper to work with and you can make just as much power as a 13bt

You could always run a standalone ECU. The Haltech F9(fuel only) would work well with the 12AT if you have the 12AT distributor.

I had a 12aT i one of my 1st gen's.

I ran a Microtech MT8 and the std 12aT dizzy it worked very well indeed.

The whole convestion only took me and a good friend 4days, that included converting the whole fuel system to EFI, the ECU wiring and the actuall motor and exhaust..

I was looking for one of those a while back, and I didn't have any luck. Your best bet would be to post a wanted ad on http://www.thepartstrader.com .
