Ok guys, I figured I would let out a little bit of a teaser finally... 1revvin7 was nice enough to supply me with a datalog of his e6k controlled t2. The datalog used is available here:

http://pengaru.com/~swivel/cars/rx-7/datal...revvin7/T13.HDL

Now for the tease, here is a movie of the datalog mentioned above, being played back graphically:

http://pengaru.com/~swivel/cars/rx-7/movie...sim-pre-t13.avi

The datalog is short so the movie is too, but you get the idea... yes, the gauges are rendered realtime using the datalog as the data source. 1revvin7 does not have the road speed sensor connected to his haltech so the speedo doesnt move, otherwise it would. There are still a number of issues to be worked out, but you get the idea. I will be using this system for realtime gauges in-car (on LCD) using the E6K for most of the data acquisition.

cool huh?

I'll try post some more / better movies later, with more stuff fixed up. I have more gauge types to implement, i want some scopes, especially one for injector ms. (like the heart rate monitor type thing in the hospital, so it shows some history of the injector ms along with the current ms)

i'm giddy again, like school girl. I think wife is pissed though, I've been locking myself into a room the last few days when not at work trying to make progress.

That's one of the many reasons I'm still not married.

thats a cool project you have going there. I have thinking about doing the same, but lack the programing knowledge to do so.

If you need some longer datalog files let me know I have a bunch.

just give me an email address and i will send some over.

Send any datalogs to swivel@pengaru.com, thanks. I need as many as I can get with varying setups for testing this stuff.

If you want some long or short E11 ones, post. I can send them as PDF's, or you can download Halwin and read them properly.

They are directly in graph format, so it would be best to get Halwin to read accurate values.
