okay, this is a really basic question for this section but hey..i need to know.

when wiring up a haltech or other ecm, do you use all the stock sensors and just "cut off" the stock wiring and splice in the new wiring harness?

so if i were to say....buy a haltech of ebay or something that was "wired for a civic" does thsat mean that it has all the stock (civic) sensors already attached and that i would cut them all off and reattatch mine(rx7)? or would a used harness like that not work at all. damn thats alot of run on sentences. thanks guys

p.s. i does any one know where i can pick up a e6k or similar for pretty cheap? i'm not in the market quite yet but it looks like i will be soon.

Just buy new or something already wired for your car.

You'll spend just as much getting everything else straigtened out. Trust me.

Nothing is worse than a sloppy harness and the headaches and problems that come with one.
