I was looking for this information all afternoon and found out and I did have a pair of wires switched around with my aftermarket ECU that was causing problems. Remember everybody, when your using an OEM TPS with your aftermarket ECU, don't mix up the narrow range with the full range. Full range ensures greatest TPS accuracy. This guide should help you to utilize your OEM TPS with an aftermarket system, or perhaps to modify your intake components and still send your OEM ECU the right information.
Series 4 TPS
-Orange - (+5V)
-Green/Red - Signal
-Black/Red - Ground
Series 5 TPS
- (2) Brown/Black - Ground
-Green/Red - Signal (Narrow range)
- (2) Brown/White - (5V+)
-Black/Green - Signal (Full range)
The ground and VREF wires are doubled in the harness in this particular build, because the car has two TPS units.
Series 6 TPS
-Brown/Black - Ground
-Green/Red - Signal (Narrow range)
-Brown/White - (5V+)
-Black/Green - Signal (Full range)
Got an enclosed TPS in your hands with no flying leads?
When looking directly at the FD TPS (when the push tab release is up), there are 4 pins.
1 - Ground
2 - Signal (Narrow range)
3 - (+5V)
4 - Signal (Full range)

for the FD do you mean looking at the connector with the release up or looking at the actual tps with the tab up?

ok i just intalled a 3rd gen s6 upper manifold and tII s5 lower manifold on my 88 convertable its an s4 with one tps and it runs good .in fact it revs smother ,but no noticeable power gain since i still have the factory exhuast thats the next upgrade for it, a nice little s5 turbo and exhuast (actually there alot more to it but im not gona get into that now )
here is the wiring i used
Series 4 TPS Wiring---Series 6 TPS Wiring---------Series 6 TPS pin
Orange (+5V)---------BR/W - 5V+------------------3 - (+5V)
Green/Red Signal-----G/R - Narrow Range TPS---2 - Signal (Narrow range)
Black/Red Ground-----BR/B - Ground-------------- 1 - Ground
-------------------------- B/G - Full Range TPS-------4 - Not Used

According to the s5 wiring diagram book this would be how you connect the s5 full and narrow range harness to an FD TPS Sensor, this is based off both cars' wiring diagram books:
according to the s5 wiring diagram book and the 94 FD wiring diagram your connections should be this
FD->S5
Brown/White (BR/W) - > Brown White (BR/W) (Power from ecu)
Green/Red (G/R) - > Green/Red (G/R) (Narrow Range TPS signal)
Black/Green (B/G) -> Black/Green (B/G) (Full Range TPS Signal)
Brown/Black (BR/B) -> Brown/Black (BR/B) (Ground)
Now when putting the FD TPS into the s5 wiring harness you should have an extra Brown/White wire and an extra Brown/Black wire leftover on the s5 harness, this is the extra power and ground that would be going to the second seperate TPS sensor on the s5, the FD unit has both ranges built into it and therefore has no need for a second power or a second ground.
I dont see any mention of a Black/Red or an Orange wire on either cars' wiring diagram book, perhaps im wrong but i cant find an orange wire anywhere near the TPS in the diagrams.
