I need help wiring up a T2 ecu into another car. I am transplating a T2 complete drivetrain into a 510 and need to know what wiring is involved from the ecu? I am buying a complete 1990 T2 and will have everything off that car for swap.

1-Is there a connector near the ecu that goes to the dash wiring?

2- What wiring will be needed from that connector to fire up the motor?

I do alot of Buick swaps and we only need 5 wires. I hope someone on this forum can help with the swap. If not the whole T2 dash wiring is going to be stuffed behind my glove box for a long time till I figure this out myself hehehe. I am going to buy the car this afternoon so I can't look at everything myself yet.

1. yes, there are 2

2. it has things like the leading and trailing coils (6wires?), it has the 12ve+ for the emissions solenoids (1), and the injectors (1), the coolant temp gauge wire (1), and some others. if you have done a buick swap you should be able to do this one.

the manual is at www.fc3s.org , the hardest part is that the ecu-->dash connector is not listed like the ecu plugs are

I laughed when i read the post about someone setting up a race with a Grand National and then came back 17 minutes later and told how he lost and how they talked and he knew everything about the GN???????? The parts he listed on that GN IT HAD TO BE A GN OWNER!!!!!!!!!! I know I have 5 Buick GN's and I build all the motors for most of the guy's here in the Bay Area. And again THANKS!!!!!!!
