Can someone tell me if the wiring harness from an older type of this ecu, the date on it says 96, will fit the newer ones. I don't have that setting for non-seq and seq switching and stuff. So if i can just find an ecu will my wiring harness be the same or what?

Thanks

I hope so! all FD's have identical wiring harnesses, so I would assume that the only difference may be the shape of the connectors, if anything. My purple box and harness are both '96, so I'm not sure if I can be much help. My guess is that they are all identical, though.

Since it says 96 on it, it's not really gold box is it? I would just like to upgrade mine so that i have that setting which i can set between sequentil and non-sequential. How much would that cost?
