ok, I have searched and so far I found that some of you think 14.7 is 1 bar, some think 14.2 and some think 14.5. My calculations and research came up with 14.22 psi=1 bar, but most searches I do seem to say 14.5, so first I need confirmation is 14.5 1 bar?

Next I researched that the power FC can only read 1.2 bar, which is 17.4 psi, am I correct?

Ok I have been having nasty fuel cut issues for ever and I have tried alot and nothing works, I do know I spike (but dont creep).

I know the reason its spikes is because if you .25 over your target boost. Since the PFC cant read over 17.4, if I set my boost to 1 BAR, I cannot get a fuel cut since the sensor cant read it, am I right?

The Power FC as delivered can read to 20 PSI. Your stock MAP sensor can only read to 17 PSI. If you are getting a fuel cut, you need to find a way to control the boost better.

Just setting it higher is like turning off the fire alarm because the sound annoys you.

You can adjust the duty cycle of the wastegate, but you will still likely need to enlarge the orifices' in your boost control pills.

http://www.ilpi.com/msds/ref/pressureunits.html

http://www.bit-net.com/~omegaone/refs/conv...t_pressure.html

1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI

14.7 PSI = 1.01 Bar

14.7 PSI = 1.03 KG/CM

anyway i am just pointing out its only a SLIGHT difference... you can multiple it out if you want to know psi and back and forth

all of that is great...

back to the question. will setting the power fc to 1 bar make my fuel cut stop since the power fc cannot register 1.25 X 1 bar?

1 bar = 14.7psi = 14.2kgcm2 = 100kpa?

if you're reading the pfc sectio on the evil forum ive seen a couple of math errors...

i think setting fuel cut to 14.7 will fix your fuel cut, cause the map sensor cant go over that

Basicly set that bitch at 2kgcm and set your rev limiter as high as possible because you don't want to ever hit any kind of fuel cut at high boost or high rpm. You better taking your chances from overboosting than you are with hitting the fuel cut under power. It will ping and it will probably die... The best thing you can do if you want a rev/boost limit is make a ignition retarded wall of fuel in the map so it will go rich and retard you timming in those area's of the map...
