Settings 4, IGN vs WATER COOL; change the 60C retard of 15 to 5.



Mine starts and runs better when cold with this. With this I was also able to remove more fuel for cold starting. I think Mazda did this to help warm up the CAT faster by initially running with a lot of retard and having more gas burn in the exhaust.



Test verification for this.

I set all cells in (P1-5,N1-5) IGL to 12 and (P1-5,N1-5) IGT to 2.



With 60C set at 15 retard, I started the car.

It idled at (P4,N3) with -2IGL and -12IGT. If it was 100% accurate, it should have been -3IGL,-13IGT.



With 60C set at 5 retard, it idled at (P4,N3) with 7.7IGL and -2.3IGT.

If it was 100% accurate, it should have been 7IGL, -3IGT.
