Need help with AEM comp in a AUTO car.

Im wanting to run a new after market ECU on an Auto tranny car and i am wanting to know how to make it work i bought a AEM ECU and am now told it will not work with an auto car and that there is not a comp made for an auto car so how do i make the auto work with a new comp. I would like it if i could get some help with this if someone could

Ok So you are right, the AEM will not support the auto transmisson. The only way I know of is to run the AEM as a piggy back to the factory ECU. Pretty much build a harness from the AEM to the stock one with just the information it needs to make the transmission work right.You will have to study wiring diagrams and pay close attention to all the details. It should work. I have done similar style things in the N/A mazda Proteges before, the whole dash in those things runs off of the factory ecu, so you just run the AEM for the engine stuff only. Same thing pretty much.
