Greetings,

I'm leaning toward getting a PFC with Datalogit. I'm now trying to decide if I should get the commander also. The best I can tell from the Datalogit page, and searches, it appears that Datalogit will do anything the commander will do and more. Is that correct? If so, I guess it comes down to whether it's worth $300 not to have to hook up a laptop when you want to monitor a live value.

Is there any way to use a Pocket PC (IPAQ) to monitor engine parameters?

Thanks,

Thanks,
I would still get a commander. The commander is almost like having gauges. I monitor Engine Rev, Boost, Knock and water temp(or sometimes air temp) on my PFC. It will allow you to see leading and trailing timing, injector duty, and a bunch of other things.

Plus, there's nothing more annoying that having to boot up your computer to change 1 setting.

i was gonna argue the other way, but there is nothing more annoying than having to do that.

Thanks for the comments. I went ahead and ordered the commander, so now I guess I have to find someplace to mount it. Really nothing more annoying than that

Cheers,
