modifiying the stock ecu
#1
Well i am currently talking with craig moates about him making real time emulator conversions for our ecus. what i need to know is what other things have you guys done other than replace the ecu. meaning what things have you done to modify the stock ecu? by installing modified chips? ect.? Anything other than full replacement computers? Mods to the factory unit?
this is what we would be able to use. check it out.
http://www.moates.net/index.php?cPath=50
btw his products are AWSOME i so that is why i am putting alot of effort into it. need to mod my 88 tII but want to use his system sooo. this is what he needs to know.
thanx a bunch!

does any one other than rtek do anything with the stock ecu?
because all rtek has is stuff for s4TII really, i wouldn't mind giving my s5 N/A some more pep.
well there i am sure would be an option with what i am talking to craig about- albiet i am phocusing more on the t2 stuff- why? this is the onyl way the car can REALLY be compeditive unless we do an engine swap to a 20b turbo or a 5.0 v8 and at that part well we may as well buy a stang. Now this is based off my understanging that 220 rwhp is th emost you can make street legal (mufflers) with an NA. and the turbo makes MUCH more than that- very easily.

they used to burn new roms for em, and still will in japan, but nowadays the stock ecu is pretty antiquated, and the harnesses are beat etc etc
