Does anyone know of where i could get or maybe does someone have a copy of the microtech mtx-8 13b sequential ecu wiring diagram for a 3rd gen. rx7?? If so email it to me, or post a site. It would be most helpfull. Thanks

Certainly.

It's not the greatest, as it's a picture, but it's high enough res to be useful. If you really need a better version, I can probably get one, just let me know.

Thanks, but one more question on that diagram, that ecu is the mt-8, mine is the mtX-8, and the the mtx-8 wiring color is different then the mt-8, of course the harness is labeled at the ends, but it does me no good especially on the coils and injectors, because i dont know which of the colors i have is leading or trailing. Or are they really just the same and i am i just full of it ? lol, thanks for the diagram

Can I ask why you chose the mtx-8 system and not the mt-8?

well, thats what my friend who owns a rotary shop sold to me, i really have no idea in the differences in the mt-8 or mtx-8, but he recommended this and he runs the mtx-8 in all the sequential ecu's he installs. And it turns out the wiring is not the same, so im still searching for the mtx-8 wiring diagram. And your probally thinkin since i know that guy with the shop just get it from him right..well hes only got extremely blurry copies of the mt-8 diagram the same as above and he is about a 2 hour drive. so if anyone that knows anything to help me out, thatd be great

hell yea, i couldn't agree more, but ive got about 60% of the wiring done from what i can go on using a mtx-8 diagram for a 2nd gen and the mt-8 diagram for the 3rd gen. so im basically screwed till i get ahold of the right diagram.

The interesting thing is that the MTX8 is the previous-generation of EMS offered by Microtech, and is pretty out-of-date by today's standards. Frankly, this is the reason that Microtech is beginning to take a stronger interest in who sells their ECUs.

I'll get you a good MTX8 digram tomorrow.
