My bud has a haltech E6k and he is having problems with it. everytime he accelerates the computer turns on the fuel pump, but when he takes his foot off the gas the fuel pump shuts off. What could be causing this? what hints should be used when installing this unit in my car so this problem can be avoided. Thanks

 

That's weird. The Fuel pump stays on as long as the ecu gets a signl from the CAS. Are you getting a good rpm signal? Does the fuel pump prime when the key is first turned on?

what was the test method used to confirm the fuel pump is indeed turning off like you said?
