I run it in linux regularly, but I don't leave it on the floppy.

just copy the e6k.exe file off the floppy and into your home directory, and after thats done do 'xdosemu -home'

this runs dosemu in X, and sets up your home directory as drive D. So after you're in dosemu just type D:, then run e6k.exe just like in dos. This works great for me.

I'm working on software that natively works with the e6k in linux btw.
