i want to put another wrap around the stuff i got from banzai. this stuff looks pretty good whatcha think ?

 

Looks good. Wrap the harness with electical tape, them put that stuff on. I also noticed they have flame retardant stuff on that site.

i already wrapped the harness in the kickass silicone wrap from banzai. i just need something to cover it with now

Won't it melt if it touches anything hot?

 

Well technically the harness shouldn't touch anything hot. It should be routed and secured in such a way that it stays off the exhaust and turbos. The wrap is to protect the wire from chafing and from the underhood heat.

 

i melted the plastic coil wrap because it was near the turbo exhaust manifold with no downpipe on. learned that lesson quick didn't damage anything just melted the cheap plastic

 

I use DEI Convuluted tubing

 

banzai's stuff works! we had a banzai wraped harness touching the turbo and theres no damage to the banzai wrap or the harness!
