for anyone playing with this, just wanted to mention I've updated the image once again, hatch interference has been resolved (large ones don't get drawn over small ones...) and latency has been reduced. The new one is at the same URL last posted above.

lemme know if you have any problems / questions / comments etc.

no sorry, not yet.

if I can get my hands on one to analyze the serial communications of then I could add support... next on the list is the e6x though, already have the unit just waiting on a ecu connector.

pengaru, check your PMs concerning a problem running the program. . .

Also, with the Haltech, where are you pulling road speed signals from? I've removed my cruise control, but I was wondering if there was a wire that led to the gauge cluster that provides this signal?

I've replied to your pm, about the road speed data I am installing a 3rd gen rx7 electronic road speed sensor on my transmission, have not got around to doing it yet though.

there is a wire that the stock cluster puts out a road speed signal on for the other systems like aas and power steering, probably cruise control too. but since i'm replacing the cluster altogether with a lcd panel that option is not possible, on my setup anyways.

Ok guys, another image has been posted at the same place as before.

This version identifies the ECU series #, firmware version #, and serial # and prints it out.

some of you reported problems, use this version and PM me the #'s it prints out if you're one of the guys with troubles.

I know you could have run the dos software to find this information but this is testing the ability to identify it from my program so I can expect different features for specific versions, just trying to see if the various firmwares support this consistently.

If you are new to this thread and don't feel like sifting through the previous posts for the location & instructions, I have a basic site up here:

Thanks.
