Computer **** Up!
#1
I sent my '86 7 to a Mazda dealership once! It cost me like $1000! My MAF sensor fried my computer! I think the same thing is wrong with it now!
I got swapped parts! I got a comuter out of a 7 with the same N/A motor. I don't know what year the car was! The label with the part No. was red instead of green, or the other way around. I used the MAF sensor off of the same car! My friend put a 383 stroker in a Gen 2!
I put the new parts on one at a time. The MAF then the comp. Then I tried my MAF! Neither worked. I have a haltech in the box, but neither the time or experience to install it. I can't afford to send it to the shop again!
I understand the basics of how to install the haltech. What I don't understand is the ignition wiring! All the other wires are easy to connect. The TPS doesn't look too hard. I am lost on emissions and BAC! What kind of crimping tools and connectors do you need to do the job right, like a shop would?
Someone Help!!!
