Well, what I am trying to figure out is what are the differences of the haltech E6x and the E11v2. I have seen both used about equally, and I am trying to find out where the extra $600 comes from on the E11v2. My eyes are hurting from all the pages of search results I've gone through, and all of that has brought me no closer to my answer. Even haltech's sight gives crap for info on which is really better. I already know about the shielding issues with the CAS wire on the E6x, so we're on the same page there.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Way more outputs on the E11

One more input for the E11

Ability to add more injector outputs for the E11 (although kinda nasty)

FULL SEQUENTIAL INJECTION

3D trailing split map

I haven't really looked into the HalWinX yet thoroughly, so I dunno if there are some differences in the interface...

hey ted, do you have any web sources that actually give the down low of the actual abilities of the E11v2 or maybe even a true side by side comparison of the E11 and the E6k or x? Also, which would you reccomend for a 6-port 13b, N/A with a decent 1/2 bridge? Basically everything else will be stock except for the MOP and other things that I don't need/want.

http://www.haltech.com/

There are all docs in PDF format and fully working downloadable programs for both the E6X and E11 which you can play around with (in offline mode).

Well, that's what ted has to say (and I know he's a reliable source), but does anyone else have an opinion on this subject?

its not really opinion?

ive used both and the e11 runs much much better, when it runs. its an awesome ecu with tons of potential but its buggy and unreliable.

the e6k is great because its bulletproof and simpler

so, you say that for all-out performance, the E11 is the way to go, but for reliability, the E6k is the choice. Now, my question falls to: what about the E6x vs. the E11v2, reliability and performance wise (i.e. both reliable and capable of high performance), which is better, and why? I only ask about the E6x because they are much more available than the k model, and therefore will probably be the one I go with if that's the path I choose.

my e11 left me stuck by the side of the road enough that i got rid of it. it ran really well when it worked though.

a lot of people seem to have had problems with the e6x's, particularly the cas wires/rpm problems, but bascially since we use the "shitty" stock wiring we havent had any issues at all. as far as we're concerned the only real difference between the k and the x is the wiring is a tad changed and the software looks different.
