There is an underlying problem if you don't go through proper channels for your MoTeC.

MoTeC AUS wants you to go through an authorized dealer IN YOUR REGION and have it installed by an authorized MoTeC installer.

All of this adds on a lot of extra dollars that will go into the thousands.

Although expensive, this does minimize all the headaches a lot of the other entry-level EMS brands are having due to misinstallations - 90% of the problems with EMS units are the installation.

Now, if you try to skirt this path, MoTeC will blackflag you.

This means you will no longer have support from MoTeC AUS or their authorized dealers.

You cannot get the MoTeC updates if there are any for your ECU model.

Last time I looked, and M4 Pro was about $2,000.

An M4 Pro harness is another $500.

MoTeC sensors is another $500 - although the MoTeC can use any sensor via a characterization table.

This does not include installation - add at least another grand for that - and we haven't even talked about tuning yet!

After all the smoke clears, an M4 Pro install and tuned by an authorized MoTeC dealer is going to cost you $5,000 easily...

no traction control, and the ABS is removed off of the car. Neiher were thigh priorities to me.

it does have the ADL dash, suspension monitoring and logging, WB, 3D track mapping, infrared brake temps, 3 axis g-sensor, and a ton of other features.
