can a aftermarket ecu sense the high octane? or how does that work?

well you could do it 2 ways

#1. what most people seem to do. run higher boost on race gas only, so the high boost part of the map is race gas friendly

#2. make 2 maps, one for gas one for race fuel

there is no way foe the ecu to know if it has race gas
