Well guys here is the long awaited 6 Port Bridgeport Dyno sheet

Series 4 6 port engine

Holley 600

RB 6 port intake

Home made long primary header

Full Brige Port

Half tank of regular pump gas

9.5:1 rotors

We have reason to believe that the tires were slipping around on the rollers, they were brand new MT I prifile street tires.

Open header, open plenum w/ 1" spacer, full direct fire and some tweaking of the timing.

Amazing what some better breathing can do!!

Well here is the sheet.

Something I forgot to mention was that during the last engine rebuild I found that the center plate had some scorch marks on it. So of course I had to port a new one. I noticed that the auxiliary ports had a lot of soot, this led me to believe that they were not breathing too well. So what I did to counter this problem was that I did not port the primary runners as large. The port size and timing are the same but the runner is a little narrower. I checked the auxiliary ports after I got home from the dyno and they were spotless so I guess that my idea of putting in a restriction on the primary side made the engine breathe better through the auxiliaries. I am happy with my first experiment success.

Next will be to run the same port type and timing on a "Euro" 6 port engine with the nice curved auxiliary ports. More to follow on this in a couple of months.

This will be my last dyno in the USA. I would like to thank everyone on the forum who has given me a hand. Special thanks to Judge Ito for teaching me everything I know.
