You will also need to get the chassis certified by nhra and get a nhra competition license. It is kinda pain to get the license. You have to get your doctor to do a physical then go to the track and do all your runs 6 total 2 soft launches 2 half track and 2 9.99 or faster. I had to go through this before the 2001 season but I'm glad to have it over with because once it is out of the way you can go to any race and not have to worry about anything.
