Cheers! 01-31-2004 09:57 PM

10 i never knew mazda was that conservative.

Jims, wouldn't a rising rate fuel pressure reg make tuning difficult. Why not just tune for injector duty cycle? which fuel pump are u using, i recall you mentioned u use the Denso pump?

BTW get teh apexi AVCR, I guarentee you will like it.

its nto just mazda that runs 10 on boost, even na cars run 10s, in fact most stock cars are there, tha ti have seen that hit the dynoes. timing is the big key in tunnig af is only part of it.

yeah the wrx runs like 10:1 too and my bro's audi was off the charts. they have to make it so it wont blow up on a cold night and cheap gas

Who was it that dynoed his Fd at 10:1 @ 15psi and hit in the neighborhood of 450rwhp? Seems like it was with a t-78, wish I could remember. ErnieT maybe?

10:1 huh? OMG! MY fuel map is already at 90 out of 99. I am going to look over my maps more and see if I do not have something wrong here.

like 90% duty? how big are your injectors?

Jims5543 02-02-2004 10:49 AM

FD motor - Stock primaries 1300cc secondaries.

I think my fuel map is messed up I have the fuel coming on too late.

94touring 02-02-2004 10:54 AM

Well with 550/1200 I never saw 100% duty cycle till I threw in the t62-1 and went above 16psi. I guess with your ecu you can re-phase your injectors so the secondaries come on later.
