Well i finally got a chance to take my r-1 to the track.. my only mods as of now (installed) downpipe, greddy sp cat back. This was my 2nd and best run.. after this they told me to get a helmet or leave.. stupid Houston Raceway Park...

R/T......... .935

60'......... 2.008

330........ 5.633

1/8......... 8.656

MPH....... 81.89

1000...... 11.220

1/4......... 13.399

MPH........ 101.92

I launched at about 2500rpms with 26.5psi in the rear tires... got no wheelspin or wheel hop on the launch.. but took it easy shifting.. and let off just b4 the traps, this was done at about 6:30pm central time at a temp of about 75 degrees or so, after driving 50 miles to the track...

My first time to the track yeilded a 13.3@109mph but my 60' were crap. Those are pretty damn good times for a more or less stock FD. Is the motor ported? I would go buy a helmet and see if you can break into the 12's with a DP and CB. That would be impressive. Get some Drag Radials on and lower that 60' down another .2 or so and you could run a mid 12. Nice Pass.

You won't....I have run the 555R's for almost a year now with no problems. As long as you don't wheel hop bad you will be fine....drag radials seem to break differentials more while drag racing while ET streets seem to snap axles. That is what I have noticed at least. I love my Nitto's too bad they don't make the 225-50-16 size anymore. Now noone does, that I am aware of.
