tried my hand the strip. Reading how all you guys have fun so i had to try it.

I ran THROUGH the water,My Veilside kit dumped water(close the lane pull out the blow torch) and I thought i could dump the clutch...... yeh bang the limiter, shift bang the limiter, spin through 3rd. first to 60 ft 2.46 area . 3rd was 2.068 slippin the clutch.

2nd run 1/4 was 115mph @13.4 3rd (last run) 12.9@112.2mph if you can see it.

FYI just somethin to add to our reading pleasure.

Is there some reason why your signature needs to take up 1 1/2 screens?

I dont slip the clutch even when driving daily except in first. You know

I think because these tires(Nitto555) have a 300 treadwaer rating they are hard and slip before the clutch would. The funny thing is that with the rotary's low torque slipping is fast if you dont have good tires. My friend has 312 whp but ran a 12.1 the same night but he throttles hard, slips the clutch till the tires start to go(feathers) and he just gets awsome times on crappy street tires!

It burns up his clutch though.I dump or roll and then throttle and just spin(high 60ft & 1/4)

but I still got 115mph @13.4

If I used my quatermaster double solid brass roadracing clutch then there aint no slippin.

Its just hard to modulate a turbo because of its spooling points.

So I havent had problems yet......

FYI ....I changed my brake oil(Motul Racing) which also is the resevior for fd clutch. Bleed the clutch slave and watch the crap come out and your pedal pressure will be more consistant.

i would think that a nice single turbo would net you a better trap and et than that. i am ignorant though. i do not know what boost you were running, nor the air/temp conditions....either way, nice runs....

wow .....tough crowd. You are right ,but did I tell you it was cool night too!I was told the track was not prepped what ever that means to the drags, but it was the traction. When I say I have hard tires I mean hard low profile tires!I spun all the way. Oh yeh......I dont have a big hair dryer like the fastest guys on the site. (.81,P-trim,.50 A/R) When I learn how, (to upload) I have a video of test launching/ runs on a street.
