Hey my first trip to the strip MIR (Budds Creek) 60 feet elevation, 42 degrees outside



GSL-se with Racing beat header and catco cat, kn filter everything else stock

16.8 at 81 Mph.



Feels really slow anyone posting Gsl-se times? I know my reaction time was slow (1.052) my 60 foot time was 2.338 I got bumped because my dial in time was 17.0 OH well who else is in the slow club?

You think your slow. I'm driving my girls Hyundai and that thing is way quick. 18.1@ snailspeed.

Heheh well I dont feel too bad considering I have 173,000 miles and never even pulled the intake manifold off .. HEHEH. !! Got the car for 300 bucks and even got to send a few hondas home at the track, and If I had adjusted my dial in for the cooling night air I would have sent hat damn vette home too Drat! Experience hehehe!

Ok couldnt edit or delete the last message let me try again.. My but lost (i ran a 16.8 to my 17.0 dial ) but I learned I could have won if I hit my brakes at the line



Next time that vette's going down! LOL

Ha you think that's funny.. I got a '97 Hyundai Elantra SE 5spd that's completely stock with a nasty valve clatter and a going-bad water pump that clicks, and it runs a 15.4. Course I drive that thing all kinds of messed up and the idle is kinda off ( sometimes 1200, sometimes 1700, had it up to 2000 one time).



I took it to westheimer (local racing street in houston) and dusted a bunch of Civics, a supra (old skool non-turbo), and some p.o.s. old corolla.



My friends say I should stop with the 3rd gen and make the Hyundai a sleeper.

Man BS how de hell u run 15.4 in a Hyundai. Downhil with tailwind 1/4 mile times dont count...

Dont u love fast beater cars .. Oh I think i got low compression the rear rotor was lower than the front when I used my compression tester on it gotta get my hands on a mazda compression tester..
