well I have most of the car together except for the downpipe and some 14mm nuts from the dealer.

I should be able to fire it up by the end of the week and see.

TYSON:

Hang on to those inj. for me. There is a good chance I'll take them.

Colin:

I did use permatex bond and just cracked too after putting in the tranny. so we shall see...

I need a new cat/mid pipe!

My factory main cat does not bolt together with the xs downpipe.

Cat is too wide to allow the holes to line up

ah it was probably all polluted anyway!

You might have to get one made. If they were way out any replacement midpipe you buy might not seal up very well either.

Jason, check with Andrew @ Wheel & Tire Zone about Gransport GS3 pads that James was talking about. Under $300 + tax for all 4 corners.

I'm not a fan or Wheel and Tire zone ever since they moved to their new location. I used to deal with another person, now it's just andrew.

He says he gives CASC members a discount. What discount? I've gone there 3 times in the past 2 months and each time I got some work done or I bought something around the 100 to 300 range. Albeit not thousands of dollars, but when you start talking prices and you say straight up... is this the best price you can do? or is that with the CASC discount, and he says yes and that price is the same as it was 3 years ago or worse what hte list price is on his board. Then that is BS.

I went around to the corner of wheel and tire zone to the other shop that shares the building with Andrew... International Autmotive place those guys were lower in prices, I did not need to haggle and they were very professional. I only show the Wheel and Tire zone sticker on my car because he is a SOLO1 series sponsor. Not because I'm a customer of andrew.
