Lets Hear An Update

One of you asked me where my hi-flow cat came from.
I made a BOO-BOO! It was not Gotham.
It's a Bonez.
Now someone is gonna say they're the same.
As you were.
Hoping to be on the road within 15 days.

Gothan and Bonez are just rebadged products. I'm 100% certain that gothan racing or rx7.com does not make or design the cermaic / metal platinum core.
THe best cat i've seen are teh random technology cats. I have a carsound aka magnaflow cat. It seems to work good but it was cheap so it might not take the heat of a rotary well.
Anyhow update on my car. I formed a semi shock tower out of 18 gauge cold rolled sheet metal by hand. It is an "L" shape with a curve to it that follows the shock tower. I then tack welded into place against the frame rail and the shock tower. I picked up the frame rail, shock tower metal, and the inner fender well sheet metal so the force are spread through all three. I then proceeded to tack between the original tacks until I welded 90%. Unfortunately only 2/3 of those welds look good. I then painted the new panel and all the seems with a liberal coat of POR15 on both sides (engine bay and inner wheel well). I then sealed it with JB weld along the seems so no water can get in btween the panels. That was how the original panel rusted out. I started to reassemble the front suspension. I have both the lower control arms on the anitroll bar reconnected to the control arms. Now i'm going to reinstall the power steering system and coils, mount the racing beat strut brace, mount the groudn control camber plates and mount the bilstein coilovers. Then mount the brakes, bleed the driver side front brake. Then set the car back on the ground and try to get her started up.
Looking to get the car corner weighted by April 28. There is a track day at mosport big track on the 30th. Solo1 school is May 7,8. I still need to take the rubber off my stock wheels and mount the R compounds I got. And I'm attending revolution this weekend... damn.
