I just got home from long weekend cottage country......Yes i was able to make it back from your place with no ill effects. The pedal didnt even stick on the way. Mind you i didnt have to shift much being on the highway. Ill call my dealer and see what he can do with the RX Club of Ontario discount he gives. Is there no way of seeing if its either the slave or master??

I don't know how much Fd parts were... but A S5 TII master was 75 cdn or tax in... the slave was 43 tax in 2 years ago.

The job to change them should be around 1 hour or less if you know your way around the car. THe pissy part is trying to make sure you don't get brake fluid everywhere.

On second thought the FD might be trickier since the clutch hydrualic fluid is shared with the brakes so you will need to becareful you don't introduce air into the brakes.

You'll need your VIN number when you call.

Rebuild Kit for the Master Cyl. For $26

New OEM unit is $121

Release Cyl (No rebuild Kit avail.)

OEM unit $92.24

I usually get 10% off

Just keep in mind that if you end up going with the rebuild Kit, make sure the piston/cyl. have no score marks in it. Otherwise it will leak.

Call Steve @ Scarborough. 20% off (416) 752-0970.

Delivery to the GHA (greater hamilton area) = 1 wobbly pop. Hell, I'll do it for a milkshake at the Stoney Creek Dairy.

Your role in The Grand Scheme will be made clear soon enough... You may need to pull some strings at work.
