Anyone around here live in Sask, BC or AB? Seems like the majority of the population reside in the East. Would be nice to find another dude to trade stories, facts or parts with face to face y'know?

LOL, that's cause there's more people within a 1/2 hour drive of the CN Tower than there is in all of SK, AB combined!

I'm from near Lloydminster, but I live in ON now.

There's a lot of Calgary area guys on rx7club. Check the canadian forum there too.

Ya I talked to him a couple times..... where is he? I'd like to get together sometime with someone and swap Stories and Ideas. I had a buddy with an 85' GSL, but he crashed it, so I know nobody with a 7 now. Cept online.

Present!

Just took my car out for a run Wednesday night between periods of the good 'ol hockey game. Second time out in 8 MONTHS when the engine suffered really, really bad carbon lock. I've since de-grunged the internals and rebuilt the carb.

Came flying back in to change the oil/plugs/etc while listening to the Flames take the Sharks 3-1.

Once the weather improves (Calgary is quickly becoming famous for snow on the May long weekend) I'll do some more tuning of the A/F mixture & timing. Currently experiencing some bogging at WOT after rebuilding the carb. It may also be fuel pressure related as I just added an inline filter at the carb intake.

I'm so unbelievably happy to have my car back on the road. The backfire and plume of smoke from all the carb cleaner & grunge in my exhaust as I ripped away was worth the wait. Ran clean and with it's normal beautiful gurgle at idle a mere thrity seconds down the street.

My original paint needs a break and I hope to take care of that this summer. Hey, I'm one of the first few people on the board whose car qualifies for "Collector License Plates" now! At 25 years old, this car just keeps getting more fun to drive!

Has anyone heard of local meets in the Southern Alberta region this summer? I caught a thread on the other forum that looked like something was developing in Calgary around June/July. I'd definately like to meet up with some other owners sometime soon.
